What Overthinker Is

Overthinker is a digital wellness tool designed to help users manage overthinking through structured exercises, cognitive behavioral techniques, and pattern tracking. It is a self-help tool, not a medical device or clinical service.

What Overthinker Is NOT

Overthinker is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional mental health care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition. The content and tools provided are for general wellness purposes only.

Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Age verification is required at signup.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You may delete your account and all data at any time from the Settings page.
You may also erase all your data while keeping your account (“Start Fresh”) from the Settings page.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for purposes unrelated to personal wellness and self-improvement.
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, or security measures.
Share your account credentials with others.
Use automated tools or bots to access the service.
Submit content intended to test, probe, or exploit safety systems (including crisis detection).

Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans (Clear and Clarity) are billed monthly or yearly in USD via Stripe.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades are prorated for the remainder of your billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Prices may change at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Overthinker available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

AI-Generated Content

Certain paid features use AI to analyze your data and surface patterns and insights on your dashboard. AI works behind the scenes and does not interact with you directly. AI-generated insights are produced automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You should not rely on AI-generated content as professional advice. We are not responsible for any actions taken based on AI-generated insights.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Overthinker (including design, code, text, and branding) are owned by Overthinker and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.

Limitation of Liability

Overthinker is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in abusive use of the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or an in-app notice.
